About Course

Supply Chain Management is a dynamic and evolutionary to encompass material and information flow through the boundaries of enterprise for managing issues like globalization in sourcing, product design collaboration, inventory deployment, distribution system and logistics.

The organization of the course leads students to go through various lately emerging innovation and application of Information Technologies such as internet of things, blockchain, 3D printing and process analytics in Supply Chain. The goal of this module is designed to give students ideas about the use of information technology in supply chain of which they may be assigned to manage the e-Supply Chain Management strategy in the future

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:

  1. describe the nature of current Supply Chain Management in e-Business environment;
  2. state the emerging innovation and information technologies to apply in Supply Chain Management; and
  3. describe the strategies, methods and technologies to adopt e-Supply Chain Management paradigm.
